Our Nominate a Hero program has evolved into the Hero Awards, in collaboration with the ENGAGE Awards. Now featuring 10 new categories designed to recognize more individuals, along with entire agencies, user groups, and teams for their incredible work!
Power User Award
A customer or user group that leverages CentralSquare’s tools and features to its fullest potential
911 Excellence Award
An individual whose dedication and performance in first response go above and beyond
Digital Transformation Award
A customer or user group that has embraced modernization to transform its operations
Community Champion Award
An individual who has made a lasting, positive impact on their community

A customer or user group that has developed creative solutions, making a positive impact in its community

Can I nominate myself?
Yes! Self-nominations are welcome – that’s exactly why it is one of our nomination categories.
When will winners be selected and announced?
Our team begins reviewing nominations and selecting winners in late February, right after the deadline closes. Winners are notified privately in March, and the full list is announced publicly during ENGAGE 2027 in April.
What happens to my ENGAGE 2027 ticket if I win a Hero Award?
Go ahead and register for ENGAGE 2027 now – there’s no need to wait. If you’ve already purchased a ticket by the time you’re selected as a winner, we’ll refund it.
Will I be notified if I wasn't selected?
We notify every winner directly in March. We’re not able to follow up individually with everyone, but with Hero Awards given twice a year, there’s always another chance for your nominee to be recognized.
